Opportunities

Field Placement

Field Placement is an advanced undergraduate experience that gives University of Delaware students the opportunity to integrate theoretical, conceptual, and practical information and skills gained in courses within a “real world” community setting.  C-TECC utilizes its existing relationships with community partners to provide internship sites.  Students have the opportunity under the direct supervision of C-TECC faculty and a C-TECC community partner, to work as interns performing a wide variety of psychology-related tasks within community agencies.  Students learn research and theory in psychopathology and individual differences, developmental psychology, and social and cultural psychology, as they interact with a diverse set of clients in the community.

Undergraduate and Graduate Research Assistants

Students are important members of our research team. We frequently recruit volunteer research assistants who assist with literature reviews, data collection, data entry, and lab productivity. For undergraduates, research assistant work can count toward PSYC366.  Please contact us  at ctecc@udel.edu if you are interested in learning about volunteer research assistant opportunities.
